Project Overview

Jeep ownership is more than just driving a vehicle—it’s a lifestyle rooted in community, adventure, and shared passion. However, Jeep enthusiasts often struggled to find a unified platform that brings together club management, event planning, and social engagement tailored specifically to their culture.

Our goal was to build a dedicated social platform that connects Jeep owners across North America, offering them tools to create and join clubs, discover and participate in events, and engage with fellow enthusiasts through Jeep-themed features unique to this community.

The National Jeeplife Society (NJLS) platform combines an interactive and user-friendly design with specialized features like customizable Jeep profiles, digital “ducks” for social interaction, event mapping, and exclusive vendor access.

Users can easily form, join, and manage clubs and groups within the platform. Clubs may require dues and have additional administrative tools, while groups offer a more casual space for enthusiasts to connect and share.

Interactive Event Map (Earth Page)

The platform features an intuitive, zoomable map where users can discover upcoming Jeep events by location. Events are pinned by zip code, making it easy for members to find and participate in gatherings near them or plan road trips with their community.

With open message boards, club interactions, and event postings, maintaining a positive and safe community environment was essential. However, moderating large volumes of content without hindering user engagement posed a challenge.

SOLUTIONS

We implemented a robust admin panel that allowed efficient content moderation, user management, and community guidelines enforcement. Automated tools and manual review processes worked in tandem to quickly address inappropriate content while keeping the platform welcoming and engaging.

2. Integrating Location-Based Event Discovery at Scale

Challenges

Providing an accurate, user-friendly event discovery experience across a large geographic area like North America required complex geolocation and map functionalities. Handling event data at multiple zoom levels and ensuring smooth interaction on various devices was technically demanding.

SOLUTIONS

We developed an interactive, zoomable event map that pins events by zip code and allows users to filter and explore events near them easily. Optimized backend processing and front-end design ensured smooth performance and scalability as the event database grows.
